Who can get a COVID-19 vaccination?
The seasonal Covid-19 vaccination programme will open again this spring, 2024.
Eligible cohorts in spring 2024:
- adults aged 75 years and over
- residents in care homes for older adults
- individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
This includes those who turn 75 years old by 30 June 2024. These people will be eligible for a vaccination at any point in the campaign. People who are admitted to an older adult care home or become immunosuppressed by 30 June are also eligible.
You will be invited for your booster, Local Hastings Pharmacies will be providing you the vaccine or you can book using the NHS app or the national booking system from mid-April.
The vaccination will be available through a mixture of walk-in and booked appointments at pharmacies and other venues.
GP Surgeries in Hastings and Rother are not able to give Covid Vaccinations this April as the contract has been awarded to the local pharmacies. If you are housebound and not been contacted by the end of April please let the surgery know and we can let the pharmacy dealing with Battle home visits know.
