Shingles vaccine 2 vaccines 6 months apart

We are currently contacting patients to offer the Shingrix Shingles vaccinations but criteria is strict.  You need to be turning 65 or 70-79 or over 50 with severley weakened imune system

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) Vaccination

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common cause of coughs and colds. It usually gets better by itself, but it can be serious for some babies and older adults.

If you’re aged 75 to 79, your GP surgery will contact you about getting vaccinated. Please wait to be contacted.

Influenza vaccine

We have new criteria – we can give childrens nasal flu, those on chemo or radiotherpay and pregnant ladies can have a jab in September but we ARE NOT ALLOWED to give any influenza adult vaccinations before 3rd October this year.

We will be sending paper and /or text invites this year to minimise paper use.  Please bear with us on this as we have to work through a lot of vaccinations clinics as some can be given with other vaccines and some cant.

Pneumonia vaccine

We offer a once in a lifetime pneumonia vaccination (or every 5 years for those with splenic issues) and eigible to anyone who has annual flu jabs.

Covid vaccine

we have not been told yet when we can start houesebound or Carey Home flu but again we will be contacting all to book dates and they National COvid booking line will open – possibly end of September – for nayone else eligible or invited.
