Blood pressure reviews

My blood pressure review is due?

During the pandemic there are some other ways of reviewing blood pressure rather than attending the surgery in person.

The surgery has a limited supply of automated home blood pressure monitors to take home and record a series of results(for instance 3 readings a day for 3 days) then returning the monitor and readings to the surgery. Please ring the surgery to arrange.

Alternatively if you have access to an automated machine you can do the same. The British and Irish Hypertensive society has a list of approved monitors for home use if you wished to purchase one, which don’t need to be expensive. Visit their website for further information.

To help you with recording of your blood pressure please download our Blood Pressure Patient Diary which can be dropped back to surgery for your doctor to review it.

Please send your home readings in to the surgery or email to admin.martinsoak@nhs.net
