To make an
appointment to see your GP, please ring (01424) 772060 and one of our
reception team will help you. We try and see patients as soon as possible. If
you really need to be seen today, please let the receptionists know this. If
there is no appointment free with any GP, they may ask you to come to the
Surgery anyway, to be seen by whichever GP is able to see you first. You
might have to wait a bit if this is the case.
A large amount
of our workload is on Mondays, when patients who have developed illnesses over
the weekend phone up. We therefore try to make very few "follow-up" appointments
on Mondays and if possible prefer to see less urgent problems later in the
week. This has reduced the overall wait for appointments.
We also offer
telephone appointments in all clinics for problems which you feel can be
more easily dealt with on the phone. If you want a telephone appointment, the
receptionists will take your name and telephone number (mobiles are ok,
providing you are somewhere quiet and not driving), and the Doctor will try and
ring back within 30 minutes of the appointment time.
Please help us to
give the best possible service to our patients and let us know if you no longer
require your appointment. Another patient could use it.
